Texas A&M is set to host a strong group of recruits in College Station this weekend for the spring game, headlined by several key targets across multiple classes.
Five-star offensive tackle Mark Matthews out of Florida is already on campus and is expected to remain through the weekend. His recruitment is shaping up as a battle between Texas A&M and Miami. While Miami may hold a slight edge at this point, this visit gives the Aggies a prime opportunity to close the gap or potentially shift momentum in their favor.
Jayquan Snell will also return to College Station for another visit after recently spending time at Miami. Texas A&M remains in a solid position with his commitment, though both Texas and Miami continue to apply pressure as his recruitment develops.
Looking ahead, 2028 standout Rmonie Edwards—the nation’s top-ranked offensive tackle in his class—is expected to be on campus as well, giving the Aggies early exposure to one of the top long-term prospects in the country.
All in all, it sets up as an important weekend for Texas A&M on the recruiting trail.
