KC to Cleveland

Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion is now a Cleveland Brown.

Concepcion, an All-American in his only season in Aggieland, was drafted by the Browns with the 24th pick in the first round.

Concepcion was stellar as a receiver and returner in 2025, catching 61 passes for 919 yards (15.1 YPC) and an SEC-high nine touchdown receptions. He also had two punt returns for touchdowns, one being the first touchdown scored in the 2025 season against UTSA and the second breaking the game open in the 49-25 rout of LSU in Baton Rouge.

The Browns were in dire need of a playmaking receiver, with lead wideout Jerry Jeudy picking up only 602 yards and catching only two touchdowns in 2025. Former Texas receiver Isaiah Bond was equally ineffective, catching only 18 passes in 16 games.

Now, Concepcion likely moves into the starting lineup immediately, catching passes from either Deshawn Watson or Shedeur Sanders. The last time the Browns took an Aggie in the first round, it was the first pick overall and Myles Garrett, who is well on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
