Bisontis to the desert

Texas A&M’s second player is off the board in the 2026 NFL Draft, with guard Chase Bisontis being selected by Arizona early in the second round.

Bisontis was the 34th pick overall, or the second pick in the second round. He will block for former opponent Jeremiyah Love, the Notre Dame running back taken third overall by the Cardinals Thursday night.

Bisontis was an early entry to the NFL Draft, deciding to leave A&M after a strong 2025 campaign. He played in every game at left guard and helped anchor an offensive line that was a finalist for the Joe Moore Award for the nation’s top line.

The Cardinals are in the midst of a major rebuild, having released former quarterback Kyler Murray earlier in the offseason after enduring a 3-14 record and nine losses in a row to end 2025. Bisontis will likely have a shot at significant early playing time in Arizona.
