Texas A&M in Strong Position for LB Ja’bios “Bigfoot” Smith Ahead of June OV

Ja’Bios Smith on A&M visit

Texas A&M continues to sit in a favorable spot with linebacker Ja’bios “Bigfoot” Smith as his recruitment moves closer toward a decision.

Smith says his relationship with the Aggies—especially with linebackers coach Coach T-Will—has been consistent and strong throughout the process.

“I have a great relationship with Coach T-Will,” Smith said. “He stays in contact with me and we talk a lot.”

That communication has helped keep Texas A&M firmly in contention. Smith confirmed he has an official visit locked in with the program for June 12, a date that will be important as he evaluates his top schools.

At this stage, the Aggies have positioned themselves well.

“They’re definitely top three for me,” he said.

As for a decision timeline, Smith is targeting a commitment in July, giving Texas A&M an opportunity to make a strong push following his official visit.

With steady communication already in place and an OV approaching, the Aggies remain right in the mix as this recruitment heads into a key stretch.
