Texas A&M Staying in the Mix for Four-Star OL Jackson Roper

Texas A&M continues to hold a strong position in the recruitment of four-star offensive lineman Jackson Roper, the No. 1 player in Colorado, as his process moves deeper into a critical stretch.

Roper made it clear the Aggies remain firmly in contention.

“Absolutely,” he said. “Texas A&M has gone out of their way to show me as much attention as anyone else in the country. I expect them to factor into my decision up until the very end.”

That level of emphasis from the staff has kept A&M among the top group, with the program continuing to prioritize building a strong connection.

The relationship is set to take another step forward, as offensive line coach Adam Cushing is scheduled to be in town for an in-person visit.

“Coach Cushing will be in town tomorrow, Friday the 24th for a visit,” Roper said. “I always enjoy my time with Coach. I believe he’s as good as anyone in the country at what he does.”

Development along the offensive line is another factor standing out. Roper pointed to the number of players with NFL potential coming through the program, along with the impact of multiple staff members.

“Just look at the number of guys that have a shot to get drafted this year,” he said. “Him, Coach Wiz and Coach Mackey are a big part of the appeal for me when considering A&M.”

With consistent communication, in-person visits, and a strong developmental pitch, Texas A&M remains firmly in the mix for one of the top offensive linemen in the region as his decision process continues.
