I’m hearing very good things for Texas A&M heading into five-star offensive tackle Mark Matthews’ decision later today, and as things stand right now, the Aggies would be my prediction to land him when he announces at 4:30 PM Central Time.

Adam Cushing and the Texas A&M staff have done an outstanding job throughout this recruitment, especially over the last few weeks where they’ve gone all-in to make Matthews a priority.

A lot of the momentum really started after the spring game, when Matthews stayed in College Station for an extended four-day visit — something that’s become pretty rare nowadays for a non-official visit. Since then, the Aggies have continued building strong traction and have positioned themselves extremely well heading into decision day.
