Texas A&M is set for another massive recruiting weekend in College Station, as the Aggies will host one of their most talented visitor groups of the summer featuring elite national prospects, priority targets, and multiple current commits helping recruit for Mike Elko and the staff.

The headliner of the weekend is Five-Star CB John Meredith III out of North Crowley. Meredith has been one of the biggest priorities in the 2027 cycle for the Aggies, and this visit gives A&M another opportunity to make a major statement in one of the nation’s most competitive recruitments. Texas continues to push hard here, but the Aggies remain heavily involved heading into a huge summer stretch.
Another major name making the trip is elite WR Eric McFarland III from IMG Academy. McFarland is viewed as one of the most explosive receivers in the country and has quickly become one of the top overall targets on Texas A&M’s board. The Aggies continue building momentum with high-end skill talent, and getting McFarland back on campus is significant.
At quarterback, Texas A&M commit Jayce Johnson from Lowndes (GA) will once again be in College Station helping recruit for the class. Johnson has emerged as one of the vocal peer recruiters in the cycle and continues working hard to bring elite talent with him to Aggieland.
Fellow offensive commit Jaden Upshaw will also be in attendance. The Lee County (GA) standout has been one of the more underrated pieces in A&M’s class and continues strengthening relationships with other top offensive targets.
Another intriguing in-state name to watch is Hutto WR Jaiden Fields, who continues seeing his recruitment rise. Fields is one of the more explosive playmakers expected on campus this weekend and could become an even bigger priority moving forward.
Up front, the Aggies are bringing in several important trench prospects including Gilmer OL Ismael Camara and Louisiana standout Albert Simien from Sam Houston. Both prospects are highly regarded by the staff as A&M continues emphasizing offensive line recruiting under Adam Cushing.
Defensively, the visitor list is loaded with talent.
Texas A&M commit Myels Smith out of Inglewood (CA) headlines the defensive tackle group, while elite EDGE Frederick Ards II from Jones (FL) gives the Aggies another high-upside pass rusher target to monitor closely. Current A&M EDGE commit Kaden McCarty will also be back on campus continuing his active recruiting role within the class.
At linebacker, Don Bosco Prep standout Mikahi Allen and Lucas Lovejoy’s Aston Whiteside are both expected in town. Whiteside in particular has become a very important regional target for the Aggies this cycle.
In the secondary, alongside Meredith, the Aggies are hosting Indiana CB Errol Kerns III as well as current Texas A&M safety commit Kamurai Dorsey from Hampton (GA). Dorsey has become one of the more vocal recruiters in the class and continues helping A&M build strong momentum nationally.
Special teams will also be represented with Tomball kicker Andres Von Der Meden expected in attendance.
Texas A&M will also host a pair of notable unofficial visitors in Texas A&M OL commit Kennedy Brown and Waxahachie safety JayQuan Snell.
Overall, this is another extremely important recruiting weekend for Mike Elko and the Aggies as they continue pushing to build one of the nation’s top recruiting classes. With multiple national targets, committed peer recruiters, and several prospects trending upward nationally, College Station will once again be one of the biggest recruiting hubs in the country this weekend.
