Texas A&M didn’t have to wait long to get their first commit from this weekend’s official visitors, with 3-star wide receiver Trey Haddad of Cleveland St. Ignatius making his move Sunday afternoon.

The Aggies had been after the 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver for some time, being the second team to offer him in August of 2025. While he had been linked to nearby West Virginia for some time, it took one official visit to Texas A&M this weekend to sway him.
Haddad’s other finalists included Louisville and Michigan State. During his junior season, Haddad caught 35 passes for 547 yards (15.7 YPC) and 5 touchdowns.
Haddad is the second receiver committed to A&M for the 2027 class, joining 4-star Jaden Upshaw of Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County. The Aggies continue to pursue 5-star Eric McFarland of IMG Academy and Las Vegas Arbor View 4-star Damani Warren.
Haddad is the 21st member of the 2027 class, which remains the top-ranked class in the country. The Aggies now have recruits from nine different states, with Ohio joining Michigan, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, California, Maryland, Indiana and, of course, Texas.
