Could Texas A&M Be on the Verge of Landing Two WR Commitments This Week?

Texas A&M currently holds the No. 1 recruiting class in the country and could be looking to add two more major pieces at wide receiver in the coming days.

Five-Star WR Eric McFarland

The first is Five-Star WR Eric McFarland, who is scheduled to announce his commitment on June 28. The latest intel continues to favor the Aggies, and I’ve already put in a prediction for Texas A&M to land the elite pass catcher.

The other name to watch is 6-foot-4 Las Vegas WR Damani Warren. Warren recently wrapped up his official visit to Michigan, but this recruitment has largely been viewed as a two-team battle. While he has not publicly set a commitment date, there is growing expectation that a decision could come sometime this week.

As things stand today, I’d lean 55/45 in favor of Texas A&M for Warren.

If the Aggies can close on both McFarland and Warren, it would be another massive win for Mike Elko and Holmon Wiggins as they continue building what is already one of the nation’s most impressive recruiting classes.
