Camp storylines

Who’s going to be the left guard? Echols was brought in from LSU to take that job, as he held that spot through the second half of 2025 and performed capably. But Ivy is also in the mix, having backed up Chase Bisontis last year. And then a third contender appeared during spring ball: redshirt sophomore Robert Bourdon, normally a tackle, got snaps with the first team. Things are still up in the air.

Who’s the backup center? Nabou is the most obvious lock in this grouping. He was the started last year, played extremely well and is getting a final shot in 2026. But what happens if 2024 repeats and Nabou is injured? Right now, Funk would likely get the nod, with Roseborough behind him. At least, that’s what it looks like right now.

Who’s backing up Baugh at right guard? The South Carolina transfer was brought in to replace Ar’maj Reed-Adams and immediately moved into the starting lineup in the spring. Who backs him up remains up for grabs. Ahfua and McGuire could be possibilities, but Thomas looks like he’s in the driver’s seat to be in the two-deep.
