Here’s a look at how some of Texas A&M’s 2027 and 2028 commits did in their latest high school action:

- Nine tackles for loss and six sacks in a season will probably get a defensive end a few quality offers, maybe one at a power four school. Texas A&M 4-star defensive end commit Kaden McCarty put those numbers up in one game — and his team lost anyway. McCarty had 14 tackles, 9 TFL, 6 sacks and four quarterback hurries in a Cy-Falls’ 23-18 loss to Cy Lakes.
- San Antonio Brandeis’ 3-star cornerback Hakim Frampton was all over the field in a 43-41 win over San Antonio Churchill. He caught two passes for 87 yards and two touchdowns while adding 5 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on defense.
- Los Angeles Inglewood 4-star defensive tackle Myels Smith went off in a 26-23 win over Palos Verdes (Calif.). Smith had seven tackles, a pair of tackles for loss and a sack in the game.
- 5-star defensive end and new arrival Zyron Forstall made a quick impact at Houston C.E. King, racking up 8 tackles (5 solo) in an abbreviated performance as C.E. King crushed Humble 70-6.
- Leesburg (Ga.) Lee County 4-star receiver Jaden Upshaw had 6 catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in a 49-0 win over Kathleen (Ga.) Veterans.
- Waxahachie 4-star safety Jayquan Snell had 9 tackles and half a sack in a 42-17 loss to North Crowley.
- Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes 4-star quarterback Jayce Johnson was 6-11 for 44 yards in a 35-16 win over Kingsland (Ga.) Camden County. He didn’t need to throw as Lowndes rushed for 333 yards in the win.
- 2028 Detroit Cass Tech 4-star quarterback Donald Tabron Jr. threw four touchdown passes in a 67-0 win over Detroit Renaissance.
